Single masterclasses are 105 minutes in length and cost $200.00 per session.
Masterclasses are offered in-studio only and do not require pre-registration.

Craftwork Masterclass

The Craftwork Masterclass is offered to emerging self-employed musicians seeking in-depth instruction on their craft.

Topics include:

  • Advanced musicianship - rhythmic development (groove, “pocket”, time-feel, rhythmic vocabulary), applied ear training, transcription work, music theory, and technique

  • Artistry - creative process, experimentation with composition and arrangement, improvisation, deep listening, self-directed research and development

  • Musician wellness - addressing personal needs and maintaining a healthy music practice

Professional Development Masterclass

The Professional Development masterclass is offered to emerging self-employed musicians seeking up-to-date, relevant professional guidance on developing one’s career in music.

Topics include:

  • Foundational financial literacy

  • Acquiring gigs, finding your music community and developing your musical profile

  • Meeting and exceeding gig expectations, whether you are a side musician, an artist, a collaborative music partner, a band leader, a private music instructor, a live music service provider for special events or any combination of the above.
